You do not need an JunkDepot account to use many of the products and services offered by JunkDepot. If you choose to create a user account with JunkDepot, we will ask you for some personal information, including your name and contact information. We will also ask you to create a password, which is used to protect your account from unathorized access. You may also be asked for additional personal information, such as credit card information for billing purposes.
When you use JunkDepot, our servers automatically record certin information about your use of JunkDepot. Like other web services, JunkDepot records information such as account activity, data displayed or clicked on, and other log information such as browser, IP address, date and time of access, cookie ID and referrer URL.
This information, including personally identifiable information, may be retained by JunkDepot in our servers even after deletion by a user. Although we make good faith efforts to store information in a secure enviroment that is not made available to the public, we cannot guarantee complete security.
Use of Your Personal Information
JunkDepot will not share any of your personally identifiable information, except for the information you choose to publicly disclose on the JunkDepot website, with any third parties for marketing purposes.
We use information we collect to improve the JunkDepot products and services, fulfill requests, bill for services, to contact you and for direct marketing activities and stastical analysis.
None of your personal information will be disclosed to a JunkDepot buyer or seller unless you disclose it.
We may disclose personally identifiable information if required to do so by law, or in the good faith belief that disclosure may be necessary to respond to a legal process, respond to claims that content violated the rights of third parties, enforce our Terms of Use, or to protect the rights, property or personal safety of JunkDepot, its users or third parties (including the general public).
